Club Penguin Halloween Party 2010

It's fun and a little bit spooky. The biggest party of the year on Club Penguin has arrived. It's the Club Penguin Halloween Party 2010 and it's here from October 29 through November 3. Most of the island is decorated with fun and festive Halloween sights and sounds. A huge storm has arrived, making everything dark and scary with ominous thunder and lightning.

There are lots of great events and attractions for everyone in Club Penguin to check out. Here are some of the highlights of this year's big party.

The most anticipated event each year at the Club Penguin Halloween Party is the candy hunt. In this fun scavenger hunt, you follow clues to try and find eight hidden pieces of candy throughout the island. Some of them can be very tricky to find, making the Club Penguin Candy Hunt 2010 one of the most difficult in years. But if you follow the clues carefully, you'll be able to find all the pieces on your own. Still stuck? A new place for this year's Halloween Party is the Dark Chamber. This is available from the Forest and only paid Club Penguin Members can enter. It's a series of three rooms that have puzzles and other challenges to navigate. In the first room, you must play an organ in a certain sequence to get through to the next spot. Then you must use a storm lantern to navigate a tricky labyrinth. Finally, you'll arrive in the Monster Room, where you can get a free item (a pile o' candy for your igloo) and access the Monster Maker catalog, which has many mix and match items for you to wear and put together a very freaky and scary Halloween costume.

Almost every Club Penguin party has a free item for all players and this year the free item for the Halloween party is a pair of purple bat wings. You can find them in a box at the Plaza.

The creepy and spooky Haunted House has returned again in Club Penguin. This year, you can get there from the Forest. Anyone can visit the outside of the Haunted House, but only members can go inside. It's a single room house with two sweeping staircases. At the top of the stairs, members can get the ghost costume, which is a repeat item from previous Halloweens on Club Penguin. There are lots of other spooky surprises inside the house. Another fun Club Penguin Halloween tradition is the showing of all three installments of the Night of the Living Sled movie. You can watch each one in a different location. Night of the Living Sled 1 is at the Coffee Shop. Night of the Living Sled 2 is playing inside the Night Club. Finally, Night of the Living Sled 3 is at the Lighthouse. Will there ever be a Night of the Living Sled 4? We'll have to wait until next year and see.
