Poptropica Cryptids Island
81A new island has arrived in Poptropica and it is mysterious and strange. The name of the island is Poptropica Cryptids Island, and it was released to paid members in December 2010. It became available for everyone to play on January 18, 2011.
The first question you might have is, "What are Cryptids?" Well, they are strange creatures of legend that some people believe in but have never been proven to exist. Some famous cryptids include the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot. There are many others, big and small.
How to Beat Cryptids Island
Cryptids Island is very long and you'll have to adventure to many different places to track down the different monsters. You'll also need to visit a lot of the places more than once. Here is a complete video walkthrough that has all the secrets and cheats and demonstrates step-by-step how to beat Cryptids Island in Poptropica.

Cryptids Island Sneak Peek
On December 2, 2010 the Poptropica Creators released a special sneak peek edition of Cryptids Island that all players could explore. This is very similar to what happened with Great Pumpkin Island when it was released.
To go to the sneak preview, look for the island on the Poptropica Map. When you arrive, you'll be on the shores of Loch Ness, in Scotland, where many tourists have gathered to try and spot Nessie, the famous monster of Loch Ness. You can even try to spot her yourself using the viewfinder near the castle. You'll only have a few seconds to try and find her (members get a little more time). If you are able to spot her, you'll win a special prize. You can try once per day.
There's also a few places to explore and people to meet, most of whom are also trying to get a look at the mysterious Loch Ness monster.

About Bigfoot
Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is one of the most popular cryptid legends known. The creature is supposedly a hairy giant man-like creature that lives in remote places. There are many reported sightings of such a creature in a variety of places, especially in the United States. You can read more about Bigfoot here.
About the Loch Ness Monster
One of the oldest and most legendary cryptids of lore is the famous Loch Ness monster. It is supposedly a dinosaur-like creature that inhabits the lake of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. There are many reported sightings but no proof that the creature really exists. It is so popular that it even has a nickname and many people refer to the monster as Nessie.

walk to man talk to him get news to go use jeep and deliver somthing to brother or freind i for got but tavel to evry town then talk to all people then get fur on gate and test it at lab only to find out its a cyotey hair so go back and the man who lent his jeep to you i fed up with the chupicbra so he disides to trap it so get in jeep and go to what looks like a bone yard and talk to him he said to talk to farmers and see what they said then you have to go back and find out he only attacks 3 spotted goats at a time so go and heard 3 spotts goats in to the bone yards and then go inside then hide behined the last rock a thump and a bump later he will say we got him go push it into the truck and he will pop out oh no he got away but a tooth is left behind take it to the lab and you have proof!!!

In the video above, wheny you go up the himalayan mountains a second time, the person in the video talks to the sherpa and the sherpa takes the person up the mountain again. I think before it was released to the public, they changed it so you didn't have to do the climbing up mountain ring thing, you can just go sraight up the mountain and play the game with the random monk guy. Remember, you can't do this this the first time you go up the mountain! Hope this helps!

I found a walkthrough,I don't own it. 1:Take a blimp ride to Cryptids Island, if you aren’t already there. You will arrive on Main Street. Walk right until you see a guy with a soccer ball, talk to him and he will hand you the flyer for the million dollar reward. (Brought to you by Harold Mews!) Go right until you get to a tree.On one of the branches,the left, there should be a five dollar bill in there. Grab it. Then go to the General Store, and click ‘Use’ on the $5.00. You will obtain Poptropica’s Favorite Sports drink!

Then he’ll say that he will take a break and walk away. You obtain the Shears! (Extra: You can use the shears on the lady’s bush. Once you arrive at the Himalayas, go up a bit, until you see the Sherpa guy with stuff on his back.
Climb the mountain with him, and when the wind is blowing strong, just try anyway. Tie yourself slowly. You will arrive with the monks. Go inside the building, and talk to the monk at the far right corner. They won’t let you take Bigfoot evidence, but they will give you a lantern. Make sure you light it. Then go outside, and climb a little bit up. Talk to the monk.You will play a quick game, which is actually very simple. Just don’t get trapped. Then he will let you pass. Go up and there will be a foot in the snow. Take a picture of it.Go back to the Mews mansion. Sigh. It’s just a snowshoe footprint. Now you can go to New Jersey.

After you try riding, and you finally come to a small clearing, look around there and find a house.In the house, go to the attic. You will hear something, and it will turn out to be a racoon. Next to the racoon, there should be a grappling hook. Get it. On your way down, you should see a thing. Could it be… the Jersey Devil?! Go outside, and the Jersey Devil will fly away. Use your grappling hook. Climb up.Get the egg,now go back left.
Amd head to Puerto Rico.Talk to the farmer. He will give you seeds to take to his brother, and lend you his jeep. Get on the jeep and go North, to the top right hand corner star. Give the other farmer the seeds, and go left, to grab the fur. Go back to the main farm, and go to the Mews mansion. Use the sample fur, and follow everything in the exact order. It’s just coyote fur. Sigh. Now use the egg! Another confirmed case! Go back to Puerto Rico, and go to the jeep. Now, herd three brown with white spotted goats to the middle star.Land there. Nothing will happen. Go find the main farm guide. He will help you. Hide next to the boulders. You will hear a THUMP! Go move the box. Suddenly, it will shake and open, and out will pop the… CHUPACABRA!!! It will growl at you, and run away, and leave you inn the groung with stars circling your head. Go where the chupacabra was, and grab its tooth. Head back to the Mews mansion, and confirmed! But, wait! You still have to find Bigfoot!
Mews will tell you that Bigfoot has been spotted in the Pacific Northwest. It has been installed in the helicopter. Go to your helicopter, and go to the Pacific Northwest.
When you arrive, Bigfoot will be running around. Follow him for a while, and then Mews will send you a messege. But Gretchen will listen in on it. She will capture Bigfoot. Now you have to stop Gretchen. Jump on her helicopter. Let all the fuel out. Now use your gardening shears. You and Bigfoot will float down to safety! Yay! You and Mews will talk, and then you will get your medallion and 100 credits! Congrats!

Give the other farmer the seeds, and go left, to grab the fur. Go back to the main farm, and go to the Mews mansion. Use the sample fur, and follow everything in the exact order. It’s just coyote fur. Sigh. Now use the egg! Another confirmed case! Go back to Puerto Rico, and go to the jeep. Now, herd three brown with white spotted goats to the middle star.Land there. Nothing will happen. Go find the main farm guide. He will help you. Hide next to the boulders. You will hear a THUMP! Go move the box. Suddenly, it will shake and open, and out will pop the… CHUPACABRA!!! It will growl at you, and run away, and leave you inn the groung with stars circling your head. Go where the chupacabra was, and grab its tooth. Head back to the Mews mansion, and confirmed! But, wait! You still have to find Bigfoot!
Mews will tell you that Bigfoot has been spotted in the Pacific Northwest. It has been installed in the helicopter. Go to your helicopter, and go to the Pacific Northwest.
When you arrive, Bigfoot will be running around. Follow him for a while, and then Mews will send you a messege. But Gretchen will listen in on it. She will capture Bigfoot. Now you have to stop Gretchen. Jump on her helicopter. Let all the fuel out. Now use your gardening shears. You and Bigfoot will float down to safety! Yay! You and Mews will talk, and then you will get your medallion and 100 credits! Congrats
