Club Penguin Sensei's Scavenger Hunt

There is a really fun new surprise activity on Club Penguin called Sensei's Scavenger Hunt. It appeared mysteriously on September 14, 2009 following a series of strange events involving different fire-related things in the game. The scavenger hunt works very simply like most scavenger hunts on Club Penguin, such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Candy Hunt.

To start the event, click on the fire icon that appears in the upper-right corner. This will display a blue window that shows icons of the eight items you need to find and a clue for finding the first one.

When you find all eight items, you'll earn a special prize: the Club Penguin Fire Pin. This event is just one more strange chapter in a series of mysteries that have been happening recently in the game.

Here is a series of quick answers to the locations of all eight items that you need to find. These are spoilers, so don't read further if you don't want to know the exact locations of all eight items in Sensei's Scavenger Hunt.

1. The first item is in the fireplace at the Ski Lodge
2. The second item is in the bookcase on the second floor of the coffee shop, also known as the book room.
3. The third item is in the Pet Shop. To get it, click on the black puffle in the cage and then click again to get a single burning hair from him.
4. The fourth item is the lantern inside the Mine. It is over on the left by the cave.
   
5. The fifth item is in the Pizza Shop. Look over on the shelf of the brick pizza oven for the bottle of hot sauce.
6. The sixth item is at the Cove. Click on the branch in the pile of sticks in the campfire.
7. Go to the top of the lighthouse to get the seventh item. It's the jet pack.
8. The eighth and final item is the lantern on the left side of the door outside the Dojo in the courtyard.

When you find all eight items, click on the Claim Prize button to get your reward, which is the Fire Pin.

As part of the scavenger hunt event, Sensei is wandering around the Club Penguin island and is giving away a special player card background. You can find him easily by using a Sensei Tracker. The background he gives out is pretty cool and you can add it to your collection.
