Club Penguin Puffle Rescue

Puffle Rescue is a fun new mini-game that you can play in the popular online game, Club Penguin. It was released on March 15, 2010 following a build-up of several weeks when puffles began disappearing inside the underground caves area.

In this new mini-game, you play the part of a rescue penguin who must move through several obstacles and rescue penguins that have become trapped. The goal is to find them and return them to the starting point. Parts of the game are very much like the classic arcade game, Frogger.

There are three different versions of Puffle Rescue that you can play. The first, Blue Puffle Rescue, is for everyone. The other two, Pink Puffle Rescue and Black Puffle Rescue are for paid members only.

There's even a secret level inside the Black Puffle Rescue game. Read below to find out the way to get there!

In Blue Puffle Rescue, you jump across moving blocks of ice to try and rescue blue puffles who are caught in the freezing cold. There are three different kinds of levels in this edition of the game, each with different kinds of obstacles. The three basic versions are:

• Cracked Ice Levels
  In these levels, you must watch out for cracks in the ice while you navigate through rows of moving ice blocks. It's just like Frogger!
• Shark Levels
  Watch out for the chomping sharks and stay out of their way or you will become shark food!
  
• Red Ball Levels
  Leap onto moving logs and ice blocks and avoid the red rubber balls which will knock you into the water.

This is an extremely fun game and it can take most people quite some time to master all of the levels.

Pink Puffle Rescue is a special version of the game that is only available to paid members in Club Penguin. You cannot play it unless you are a member. In this version, you go deep underground into the mines and jump onto mine carts moving in different directions. This game can be hard because you have limited vision and obstacles only show up clearly when you are a few squares away from them. On top of all that, some of the levels have wooden crates that fall apart when you jump on them, meaning you'll need quick reflexes and good planning to survive.

Black Puffle Rescue is another members-only edition of the game. You must be a paid member to play it. In this version, you go underwater to rescue black puffles trapped inside air bubbles. Along the way, you'll encounter dangerous sea creatures that you must avoid. Also, you cannot stay in the deep water for very long without getting air through bubbles or some of the large fans that are strategically placed throughout. This is a really challenging version of the game, and it's lots of fun.

There is also a secret level hidden in the first level of Black Puffle Rescue...

There is a secret level entrance located in Black Puffle Rescue. Getting here gives you access to the special underwater room in the underground caves. Once you get there, you can pick up the Moss Key Pin, which allows you to pass through the locked door on future visits to the underground caves. Here's how to find the secret level in Black Puffle Rescue.

1. First, play Black Puffle Rescue at the mines.
2. Go rescue the black puffle but then stay put and wait for the giant shadow to appear above you.
3. Follow this shadow up to the top of the screen and stay behind it.
4. Position yourself over the bubbles to get more air and stop from sinking as you go.
5. When you reach the land area, go to the right to find the staircase.

Once you go through the staircase, you'll be in the underwater room inside the underground caves. Be sure to pick up the Moss Key pin for future visits!
