Club Penguin Puffle Party 2010

The Club Penguin Puffle Party, now in its second year, is already one of the most popular events on Club Penguin. This year's edition doesn't disappoint, with a lot of decorations and activities. Some are the same as last year, and a few events at the party are brand new, like the Puffle Show, which is for members only. And of course the highlight is the upcoming release of the new Orange Puffle.

The big event at this year's party is the Puffle Show, which is a special area for paid members only. Inside the event, you'll get to bring your puffle into a show that looks a lot like a championship dog show. You can have your puffle run on an obstacle course or even get a new style in the grooming area. Also, there's a free item for members in the Puffle Show: a cool looking Puffle Jacket.

Every great Club Penguin party has a free item for everyone and this time it's the Puffle Hat. To get this free item, waddle over to the Plaza in Club Penguin and look for the box with the free item sign. You'll get the hat!

There are a few special areas with fun things to do at the Puffle Party. Some of the best ones are the Snow Forts, where you can be part of a giant puffle snowball fight, and the Puffle Feeding Area, which is right near the snow forts. In the puffle feeding area, all different color puffles pop out of holes in the ground. You can toss snowballs (which turn into o-berries) at them and they will gobble them up before disappearing back into their puffle holes in the ground.

One of the really cool things about the party is that every puffle has a decorated area all to itself. If you waddle around the island, you can discover them all. Here is a full list of all the decorated areas that you can visit for the different color puffles. Some of the places, like the lighthouse, even have fun little surprises in them to check out.

I think my favorite spot is the one that's new for 2010. The White Puffles in the mine. The entire floor of the mine has been turned into a giant indoor ice skating rink. Have fun!
