Club Penguin Halloween Party 2009

The Club Penguin Halloween Party is a fun event held every year on Club Penguin in the days leading up to Halloween. The party usually features fun things like a free item for everyone, special members-only surprises, and of course the annual Halloween Hunt, where players scour the island looking for hidden pieces of candy.

The 2009 edition of the party has lots of fun things to see and do.

This year's free item at the Club Penguin Halloween Party is the Pumpkin Antennae. This headwear item is a simple headband with two pumpkins on top. It's pretty cute. You can get the free item in a huge box over at the Plaza. Everyone can get this item. You don't need to be a member. So waddle on over to the Plaza now to get it!

The Haunted House is a new feature of the Club Penguin Halloween Party, introduced just this year. The Haunted House appears where the mine shack normally is and you can get there by going to the mine on your map or by clicking on the signs for the Haunted House that you see in the Town and the Plaza.

Only members can get inside the haunted house, which has a lot of fun and spooky surprises inside. You definitely want to move your mouse cursor around a lot to see what kinds of crazy things are hidden inside.

There's also a cool free item for members inside the Haunted House. It's a pumpkin head. Because only members can get inside the Haunted House, this item is a members-only item. It looks pretty crazy!

There's another special room for members only. It's the secret lab, which appeared last year, but in a different location. This year, the entrance is hidden inside the cave in the mine. Go to the haunted house, but instead of going inside, click on the doors leading inside the mine. You'll see a glowing green lantern. Click on it to reveal a secret staircase that goes into a secret hidden laboratory.

Inside you'll find some really fun stuff including a monster maker catalog with special mix and match costume items.

This is also the spot where Gary the Gadget Guy will sometimes make special appearances during the week leading up to Halloween.

One of the most popular parts of Halloween on Club Penguin is the annual Halloween Hunt. In this simple scavenger hunt, you follow the clues to find eight pieces of candy hidden around the island. Some of them are easy to find, but others can be pretty tough.

When you find all eight pieces, you can claim a prize. This year, it's a Jack-O-Lantern background for your player card.
