Club Penguin Adventure Party

The Club Penguin Adventure Party is a special party on Club Penguin held each year in June. The first Adventure Party took place in 2009 and it was expanded in 2010. It features a scavenger hunt, free items, and special members-only areas. In the first party in 2009, many parts of the island were decorated with a jungle theme. In 2010, the theme was pirates and nautical adventures. This hub will give you a complete guide to all the cool things you can do at the Adventure Party.

The Club Penguin Adventure Party is back for 2010 with a brand-new theme and lots of new activities and events. Some of the activities are the same as last year, but many things are brand-new. The biggest change is the theme. While last year's party had a jungle theme, this year it's all about adventure on the high seas, with lots of ships, pirates, mermaids and other scenes from the ocean.

No Club Penguin party is complete without free stuff, and there are special free items for everyone at the 2010 Adventure Party in Club Penguin.

Hard Hat

The hard hat is available once again for all penguins. You'll need this item (if you do not already have it) when you complete the paper boat scavenger hunt to get another free item. So waddle on over to the Cove and pick it up. Walk to the lower left corner and stand on top of the jackhammer to get your hard hat.

Marooned Outfit (Members Only)

Paid subscribers in Club Penguin can get a second free item, the Marooned Outfit. This tattered coat and shorts makes you look like you've been living on a desert island for years. To get it, go to the Tree Fort, which is located in the Forest. It's in the lower left corner of the room.

Once again, there's a scavenger hunt as part of the Adventure Party. This year, Club Penguin brought back the paper boat hunt to fit with the nautical theme of the party. There's also a special part at the end where you dig for treasure and get a free item! To get started, click n the large paper boat icon in the top right corner of your screen while playing the game. Each boat has a clue to help you find it. Check out the video below to see where to find all the paper boats hidden throughout the island.

When you're done with finding the paper boats, you'll complete a treasure map. Then go to the Cove and "dig" where the giant purple X is on the sand. To dig, put on your hard hat and do a dance move (press D on the keyboard). You'll get a white pirate bandanna as a special treasure.

A couple of quick trips around the island will reveal lots of fun and cool stuff for players of Club Penguin. Many of the rooms have been redecorated with a nautical theme. Members in particular should check out these special attractions:

Tree Fort

You can get here by climbing the rope ladder on the tree in the Forest. You can get the special Marooned outfit here and also feed a giant snowball eating plant.

Ship Battles

This is brand new for the 2010 party. Go to the Beach and then walk onto the rowboat in the bottom right corner. You'll arrive at a ship battle scene where two boats are fighting broadside with cannons. You can team up with friends to shoot the cannons and use your hard hat and jackhammer to repair them with the cannons cause the decks to spring leaks.

The first thing that everyone usually wants to know about a Club Penguin party are what the free items are and how to get them. There are two free items at the adventure party. One is for all players and the other is for members only. The free item for everyone is the Green Safari Hat and you can find it at the plaza. Look for a little crate in the bottom left corner of the room and then walk over to it to get the hat. The second free item is for members only. It is a tropical bird that you can wear on your shoulder. You find it in the Tree Fort, which is the special room only for members at this party. Walk across all the rope bridges to get to the tropical bird box in the upper-left corner of the room.

The tree fort is a special room for the party and only paid members in Club Penguin can get inside. To go there, first head to the forest and then click on the rope ladder on the tree. You'll arrive in a special tree fort at the top of the forest. It's really cool. There are a few things to do here besides getting the free tropical bird item. One fun activity is to throw snowballs at the snowball-eating plant. Watch it munch them up!

The biggest activity for the Adventure Party is the Club Penguin Adventure Party Hunt. This is a scavenger hunt that is a lot like the Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Candy Hunt events that Club Penguin does each year. To get started, click on the binoculars in the upper-right corner of your screen. There are eight items to find and there are clues to help you find most of them. When you find all of them you can claim a prize. It's a special adventure party background for your player card.
